Day of the Dead Girl Altar Piece Tattoo

Comments: Derek wanted to go big on his first tattoo... and he did just that. He asked for a Dia De Los Muertos theme so I decided to make an altar out of it. I decided to mix realism with an illustrative feel to really add a fun dynamic for such a big tattoo. I see my work going in this direction more and more. It's pretty much everything I like to do all in one tattoo! Color portraits, big lines, vibrant color, and big! I had a blast working on this over 2 different sessions. I think I like doing these day of the dead tattoos after all. All rotary machines.
