Chicken Tattoo

Comments: This is the third animal tattoo that I have done on Jinxi. Although it looks like a rooster its actually a Black Cochin Chicken. This is on the part of her leg that is dedicated to animals... I'm gonna steal a bit of verbiage off of Jinxi's website to tell you more about this chicken. The next section came from www.JinxiBoo.com Meet my adorable little Black Cochin Chicken. Yes, she looks like a rooster, but it's actually a beautiful breed of chicken with fluffy legs and gorgeous black feathers, sometimes sprinkled with splashes of emerald green. Cochins are known for their sweet personalities and endering mothering qualities. They became famous in the 1800s when this Chinese breed was given as a gift to Queen Victoria of England, who absolutely adored them. I also adore them and now get to admire one each day, as it sits right next to my pig tattoo, above my portrait of Steve, and adjacent to my cow tattoo.
