Color Portrait Mom Tattoo

Color Realism Portrait Mom Memorial Tattoo. The reference photo for this tattoo was a small picture from a wedding album that I enlarged and sharpened in photoshop. Marc has some nice traditional tattoos on his body so I decided to make this more than just a replication tattoo by adding some abstract elements to it. I really enjoyed trying a new color scheme as well as the texture of her shirt. I tried to give it graphic look while still maintaining its realistic feel. The bright red background ties into an existing tattoo... in hopes of maintaining continuity and flow for future tattoos to be added on to the arm. This was a really fun tattoo. I had the chance to do a second sitting on this tattoo which is always the best bet for saturation and sharp detail. All Intenze Ink. Stigma and NeoTat machines. Total of 8 hours.
