Realistic Lion Tattoo

Comments: Mike has an existing tribal phoenix tattoo done by another artist. Initially, Mike wanted to add a tribal lion and somehow connect them. Without trying to pressure him too much, we ended up with this realistic portrait of a lion, instead. He still wanted them to connect so I tried to loosely tie in the tips of the phoenix into the lion's mane. This was done in 2 sessions with a total of just over 6 hours. I had a lot of fun with this one. Thanks, Mike!
